What You Need to Get Started
New Patient Paperwork
To save time at your initial appointment, after scheduling your first appointment you will receive an email containing a link to web documents where you can securely fill out your new patient paperwork. This can be done from the convenience of your home or work. It will be securely sent to our office so you don’t have to worry about printing or scanning any documents.
Dental Insurance and Finances
If you have dental insurance it is important to provide us with this information before your first appointment. By having this beforehand, our team has time to call the insurance company to learn about your specific plan so we can provide you with accurate estimates for any treatment. Our office makes it a priority to provide accurate copay estimates for patients before treatment begins. If you have had bitewing x-rays taken within the last year or a panoramic or full-mouth series taken within the last five years, we will gladly have those x-rays transferred to our office. It is important to transfer any up to date x-rays, so we can help limit your radiation exposure with unnecessary x-rays. Many insurance companies limit the frequency they will cover x-rays as well, so transferring x-rays allows your out of pocket cost to be kept at a minimum.
New Patient Appointments
During your new patient appointment, Dr. Jarrett will talk to you about your dental history and any concerns you may have. She will perform a comprehensive exam, take any necessary x-rays, and provide a cleaning unless periodontal treatment is necessary. If you know have immediate concerns or pain you would like addressed that day, please let us know when scheduling your new patient appointment. We can often complete or start treatment the same day in these instances.
During your child’s first appointment at our office, our team will work to build their trust and help them feel comfortable. By talking with your child and getting to know them, our team will be able to provide them exceptional dental care. During their visit, you are welcome to accompany them in the treatment room or wait in our reception area. It is important to know that any patient who is under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult at their first visit.
