Stainless Steel Crowns

This young child had large decay on two primary (baby) teeth that were not able to be restored using traditional filling material.  Dr. Jarrett was able to save each tooth by using stainless steel crowns.  This type of crown is used to save primary teeth that play an important role in a child's oral development.  The alternative treatment would have required the patient to have both teeth extracted and then have a space maintainer placed for several years.
